    Updated v2013-11-09. Package has been slimmed down considerably to just the basic, essential tools to work with the developers package.

    Updated v17.3.9.0:

    Just a light refresh this round. Mainly to test the various scripts and everything to make sure nothing major was affected by all the recent link/redirection changes with the LastOS.org site (forum, files, etc.)

    :cool:

    Who the heck still uses Windows 2000 in 2019?

    Windows 2000 was a good server OS, I am sure someone is, I just don't know who :D It has the Domain Stuff and worked perfect with a Thin OS due to it's very light memory usage.

    I aimed all my efforts at home users, so yeah you wont find anything here for it, doesn't mean I've not used it, used to run Windows 2000 in the schools I used to work at because it's group policies were way more locked down making their OS's last for many months - compared to the other schools I know that switched to XP, if the students didn't break it then the online virus etc would.

    LOL, no that is very true, still I would let users use Win 2000 before I'd let them use 98, XP or Vista

    Some people got apps that work on XP to work on Windows 2000

    @pacav, I'm trying to install Development.Tools_v2023-10-23.exe, but when I try to do so, I get the following error and can go no further:

    Error during execution "SetupS_x64.exe -TrayOnly -Fadertainer=On -FaderOnTop=Yes" .
    The system cannot find the file specified.

    I have no idea what file it can't find.

    Yeah use Pacav's versions, I haven't tested my version, I did make pacav the helpndoc updated version, so his should be fine to develop in.

    Thanks, @pacav69 and @Glenn, but why are SetupS Installer (as an InnoSetup package) and Full Developers Package the same download?

    You'll need to clarify where you mean, the SetupS links above to the webpage, seem to be fine when I hover, what's the issue and where exactly?

    @bphlpt one is and exe file that installs to the default directory (SetupS Installer (as a ssApp-EXE package)) and the other is a 7z file (Full Developers Package. Everything needed to ensure ongoing development.) that contains all files needed to modufy or redevelop and then recompile as seen in the repo.

    At this page - https://www.lastos.org/files/SetupS-files.htm - these two things seem to point to the same exact file, and both are .7z

    And what I was originally referring to was - "http://www.lastos.org/files/Development.Tools_v2023-10-23.exe" - or - "http://www.lastos.org/files/Development.Tools_v2023-10-08.exe" - Which is supposed to contain many of the development tools. Both files will not execute for me, but rather give the error I show in the OP. My guess is they weren't constructed properly because if you expand the file you seem to have no trouble installing the contained individual tools. I checked with Freezer, and he said he had nothing to do with these newer files. He still uses the 2017-12-03 version. So if it wasn't him, then...

    I am hovering my mouse over Mirror 1 in the InnoSetup one, check the bottom of my chrome - the link is the correct one, I clicked it and it started to get the correct one... not sure why yours is acting different.

    I refreshed my cache, and even used different browsers, both Waterfox and Supermium. They both show the same thing.

    Besides the fact that they are labeled incorrectly, SetupS.Project_v23.10.08.0_DevelopersPack.7z, in your screenshot as well, how about in my post above?
    Do the links point where they should, or all at the same file? For me, for both InnoSetup and Full Developers:

    mirror1 == http://www.lastos.org/files/SetupS.Project_v23.10.08.0_DevelopersPack.7z
    mirror2 == http://sstek.vergitek.com/files/SetupS.Project_v23.10.08.0_DevelopersPack.7z

    And please check the files from the OP, referenced above. There is something wrong with them, and they are not Freezer's files.

    double click as a .exe and you get this, in 7zip open as archive gives the files within and are good it seems, seems to be trying to execute the SetupS_x64.exe from within and this is the issue :confused:

    Yep! That's what I was trying to say. Thanks, Ghost! The exe should be able to be made to work correctly, I believe the Development.Tools_v2017-12-03.exe version does.
